Australian Book Tour Photo Album: Part Five

My Australian book tour photo album #5. I’ve just had two action-packed days in Western Australia, on the final leg of my tour for The Trip of a Lifetime. Once again, my biggest thanks to the brilliant librarians and booksellers who hosted me at my three events, and to the many readers who came along to each as well. It was so great to get to meet and talk to all of you.

At Armadale Library – Claire, Gareth and all the library staff, and to Barb and Lloyd of Collins Booksellers. At my Dymocks Morning Tea at the Parmelia Hilton in Perth – my dear bookseller friend Ann Poublon and also Sabrina and Meg of Dymocks Garden City; Will Yeoman, books editor of the West Australian newspaper for his (as always) excellent and thoughtful questions in our on-stage interview. At my final event of my tour, at the Prendiville Performing Arts Centre – Anita, Margaret and all the wonderful staff of the Joondalup Library; James, Allyce and Alyse of Dymocks Joondalup and also Ben, manager of the Centre. I also signed many copies of The Trip of a Lifetime for the lovely folk at Dymocks in Hay Street, Perth.

A big thanks also to the very welcoming WA writers who came along to my final event at Joondalup too – Anthea Hodgson, Tess Woods, and Rachael Johns, and also to my Irish writer friend and now Australian resident, Kate Beaufoy and her lovely daughter Clara.

And finally, a special thanks to Joyce Carter of Penguin Random House in WA, for taking such great care of me and my books.

I hope you enjoy my photos.

P.S. Many thanks too for the many messages, emails and comments you’ve all been sending/posting during my tour and apologies for the slow replies. I promise to get back to you all ASAP this week!
