My First Flight Since March

Greenock last night, Mount Gambier this morning!

Thanks so much to everyone who came to my event last night at the Greenock Institute, organised by Ken Lyons of Kapunda Library, who gave me such a warm welcome. It was great to meet you all, and talk books, writing, reading and research. My big thanks to Annette and Helen of Raven’s Parlour Booksellers too.

Special thanks too to my dear nephew Dominic McInerney who is travelling with me on my SA tour, stepping in so well for my Penguin Books publicity manager Bella Arnott-Hoare, who is unfortunately in lockdown in Melbourne and unable to travel with me (but is doing such a fantastic job with my tour from afar.)

We’ve just done a dawn flight from Adelaide to Mount Gambier (facemasks in place, our first flights since March…). Looking forward very much to my talk at the Library here tonight. See you all soon!
