The View Was Exhausting
I’m still happily sorting through my Dublin attic office after my unexpected 2 years in Australia, and just found a children’s story I wrote for my beloved niece Mikaella Clements when she was 5 years old. Fast forward 25 years, and that same beloved now Berlin-based niece Mikaella Clements and her wife/my beloved niece-in-law Onjuli Datta are celebrating the paperback publication of their debut novel, the sparkling, witty, glamorous romantic comedy THE VIEW WAS EXHAUSTING. As you’ll see, it received glowing reviews all around the world, incl. from ever-generous authors Taylor Jenkins Reid and Marian Keyes. It goes without saying that I agree with every word they all said. Congratulations on this next step in your already brilliant careers, dearest Mikaella and Onj – I’m thrilled for you both.
